Global Health

I'm going to use this site to organize the work on global health.

I'm starting with these two given links, where I've been asked to choose the questions I'm interested in investigating.

Malaria FAQs from this site [https://issarice.com/malaria-notes]:

Hypothesis : The coastal region in Northern Africa is isolated from the big endemic zones. However, as seen in the map, there's more malaria activity toward the coast, the Nile river, and the oasis than in the desert.

  •  What about the Arabian and Kalahari Deserts? They’re both deserts too, so why do we see malaria in countries located in those places.
Hypothesis for Africa: the Kalahari region is much less desertic than the Sahara, the region is smaller, and limits with the huge, continuous risk zone of Africa, while the coastal north is isolated by the Sahara desert.
